I am proud to do regular town halls to bring transparency and understanding to Westmoreland County. County government in Pennsylvania has many rules created by PA Act 40 or other state and federal legislation. Join me as I break down that information for my constituents.
Office hours will be informal Q&A sessions specific to an upcoming meeting.
Every town hall will have a similar format. They will begin with a short presentation on a specific topic. That usually takes 15-45 minutes, and may involve a guest speaker. After the presentation, participants are free to ask any question, on any topic. Questions can be asked anonymously or with your name. Registration is required for each town hall. When you register, you are reminded of future town halls via email.
Office Hours will be informal sessions; they will not have a formal presentation. Attendees still have to register for office hours, but they can join any time within the hour-long session. Attendees are encouraged to review the agenda first, then join with questions, concerns, or comments related to the agenda. I will schedule office hours for 60-minute sessions, but I am willing to stay beyond 60 minutes if there are active attendees.
