The Chew 4 You Facebook page does not attempt to collect your personal data. When you interact with Chew 4 You, the Facebook Analytics provides Insights in who is interacting with the page. These Insights are de-identified (no user names or Facebook names) and are provided in aggregate. For example, the Insights shows how many users viewed the page, the hours of viewing, etc., but no names are involved in that data. If you post comments to the page, those comments will be identified by your Facebook profile as specified by Facebook and the settings you have chosen for yourself. Users may always delete their own comments or apply any Facebook privacy settings to their comments.
The Chew 4 You Facebook page utilizes a Facebook add-on known as “Polls for Pages.” Polls for Pages allows the Chew 4 You page to perform polls of Facebook users. Polls for Pages will not be used to collect any user data unless a user enters his or her name into a poll question response. Polls for Pages will not collect any personal information behind the scenes or through software codes; only information provided by a responder is collected. Users will never be asked to provide identifying information. Polls for Pages will not be used to identify a user or a user’s responses, and results will only be used in aggregate. Chew 4 You and Doug Chew will not use Polls for Pages in any way to identify users, even when a respondent provides a name in a response. Their use is limited to de-identified, aggregate data. All answers and information provided in Polls for Pages will be maintained in strict confidence by Doug Chew and no individual answers will be made public. Fees for Polls for Pages are paid for by Doug Chew and Chew 4 You. No government money is used to maintain this poll software.
Occasionally, Chew 4 You will offer users a way to stay in touch or informed. A user may then privately message the page with name, email, or other information. Private messages may be viewed by Doug Chew, Michael Van Dyke, Heather Cordial, or Mary Humberger. When user information is provided, it will only be used for the specific purpose identified. Users will not be added to any additional lists, and users will only receive the specific information that they requested. Users can sign-up for as many lists as are available. There are no obligations for the user, and users may request removal at any time. No government money is used to maintain these update lists. Updates may be sent during a workday when the update is a specific update related to the function of county government.
No information used on Chew 4 You or in private messaging will be sold. Information will be deleted once the use of that information is concluded.
